Bug tags…
This idea originally started off as a joke. After looking at it a second time its actually probably quite a fun idea…
With GUADEC coming soon the idea of bug tags popped into my head, bug tags are similar to dog tags, as in they’re a pair of tags with something written on them, what’s different of course, is what is written on them
You’d write a bug number on both tags, while wandering around guadec you might just find someone that you can coerce into promising that they’ll fix that bug, you give one of the bug tags to that person, and write down some of the details of the person who promised to fix it on the other one.
Bug tags could then be bought and sold for beer too so anyone too hard up to buy enough beer could earn beers for bugs!
The point is of course, you’ll walk away from guadec with a bunch of bugs which have been “assigned” to you by means of a bug tag! A memento and a bug to fix all in one
